What ads get your attention?
With social media advertising, many different ads seem to gear me towards either products or certain brands. Whether it is sports, clothing products, or “what I need” in everyday life, having effective brands with solid advertising is key. Advertising through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc can have a massive impact on your brand. This can grow your sales and fanbase, use customer generated content for ads, and attract target audiences and customers either new or recurring. With Instagram advertising, I am most attracted to sellers of products that are visually appealing or who are able to incorporate visual media, such as video ads like commercials. I believe the most important of Instagram advertising is focusing on the custom audiences. This could be audiences created through pixel tracking, an email list, a followers list or some other method. Lists of users who have engaged with you in the past is highly favorable, in my opinion.
